Katherena Vermette Books in Order

Katherena Vermette is a celebrated Canadian writer, poet, and children's author of Metis descent. Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she brings a unique perspective to her writing, deeply rooted in her community and experiences. Vermette is a recipient of the prestigious Governor General's Award for English-language poetry, awarded in 2013 for her powerful collection North End Love Songs. Her children's picture book series, The Seven Teachings Stories, was published by Portage and Main Press in 2015. Her work has also been featured in notable literary anthologies, including Manitowapow: Aboriginal Writings from the Land of Water.
