Kate Ross, a celebrated American mystery author, crafts intricate stories set in Regency-era England. Her notable works include the Julian Kestrel series, which follows the charismatic dandy Julian Kestrel through four novels: Cut to the Quick, A Broken Vessel, Whom the Gods Love, and The Devil in Music.
