Karan Mahajan is a critically acclaimed author born in 1984 in New Delhi, India. His debut novel, Family Planning, garnered international recognition as a finalist for the prestigious Dylan Thomas Prize and was published in nine countries. His sophomore effort, The Association of Small Bombs, solidified his reputation as a masterful storyteller, earning a 2016 National Book Award Finalist nomination for Fiction. His evocative prose has been featured in esteemed publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, NPR’s All Things Considered, and The New Yorker online. A graduate of Stanford University and the Michener Center for Writers, Mahajan currently resides in Austin, Texas.
