John R. Maxim is a seasoned author with a diverse background in marketing, advertising, and military service. Born in Greenwich Village, NYC, he was educated at prestigious Jesuit schools, Xavier and Fordham. As a young man, Maxim pursued a thrill-seeking lifestyle, indulging in flying, skydiving, and stock car racing. After serving in the military, he transitioned into a successful career in marketing, rising to Senior Vice President at major New York Advertising agencies, where he garnered numerous awards. His international travels as a marketing executive fueled his passion for writing. After making a bold decision to dedicate a year to writing, he sold his first novel at 41 and went on to author 13 books, including a non-fiction title, translated into ten languages. His works have been optioned for film and television, with several projects still in development.
