John Glatt is an English-born author of numerous bestselling true crime books, including <i>Lost and Found</i>, <i>Secrets in the Cellar</i>, and <i>Playing with Fire</i>. With over 30 years of experience as an investigative journalist, he has worked in both England and America. After leaving school at 16, Glatt began his career in journalism, working as a tea boy and messenger before joining a small weekly newspaper. He later freelanced for various English newspapers before relocating to New York in 1981, where he became a staff writer for News Limited and contributed to publications like <i>Newsweek</i> and the <i>New York Post</i>. Glatt has published several books, including a biography of Bill Graham in 1981 and his first true crime book, <i>For I Have Sinned</i>, in 1998.
