She holds a degree in Politics and English, which led her to a successful career in broadcast journalism with the BBC, where she presented and produced news, current affairs, and arts programmes on television and radio. Now a full-time writer, Joanna has a contract with Harper Collins for three historical novels, with The Agincourt Bride marking the beginning of this exciting new chapter. When not immersed in the past, she resides in a charming 200-year-old farmhouse in Scotland with her family, including a lively Irish terrier.
