Jo Goodman Books in Order
Jo Goodman is a multifaceted writer whose creative journey began at a tender age. As a fourth-grader, she started crafting characters from Sears catalogue models to illustrate her first family saga. This early spark ignited a passion for storytelling that continued to grow throughout her youth, with a flair for melodrama evident in her seventh-grade works. After pursuing a degree in biology and chemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Goodman's career path shifted towards working with adolescents and families. She began as a childcare worker, later earning a master's degree in counseling from West Virginia University and becoming a therapist. As the executive director of a child caring/mental health agency, Goodman now finds her work in mental health complementing her writing, providing a grounding in reality and an escape from it.
