Jillian Tamaki is a renowned cartoonist, illustrator, and educator based in Toronto. With a career spanning over two decades, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the world of graphic storytelling. As a co-creator, alongside her cousin Mariko Tamaki, Jillian has written several critically acclaimed works, including the award-winning novels <i>Skim</i> and <i>This One Summer</i>, which earned a Caldecott Honor in 2015. Her notable graphic novels include <i>SuperMutant Magic Academy</i> and <i>Boundless</i>, a collection of short comic stories for adults.
