Jessica Brody is a prolific author of novels for teens, tweens, and adults. A lifelong writer, she began publishing her own books at age seven, creatively binding pages together with cardboard, wallpaper samples, and electrical tape. After graduating from Smith College in 2001, where she majored in Economics and French and minored in Japanese, Jessica pursued a career in the entertainment industry, working as a Manager of Acquisitions and Business Development at MGM Studios. She left this role in 2005 to focus on her writing, and since then, has sold over a dozen novels, including 52 Reasons to Hate My Father, The Karma Club, and the Unremembered trilogy, which is currently being adapted into a major motion picture. Her works are published and translated in over twenty countries, showcasing her global appeal.
