Jenny Nimmo Books in Order
Jenny Nimmo is a celebrated Welsh author, born in England, who has lived a life rich in creative pursuits. Educated at esteemed boarding schools in Kent and Surrey, she defied convention by running away from school at 16 to pursue a career in drama, eventually graduating and acting in repertory theater across the UK. Her travels took her to Italy, where she taught English to three Italian boys in the picturesque town of Almafi. Returning to the UK, she joined the BBC as a picture researcher, rising through the ranks to become a director and adaptor for the beloved children's storytelling program Jackanory. She now lives in Wales with her husband, renowned artist David Wynn Millward, in their historic converted watermill home.
