Jennifer Close Books in Order

Jennifer Close is a celebrated author known for her insightful and engaging novels. Her notable works include the best-selling books Girls in White Dresses and The Smart One. A highly anticipated novel, The Hopefuls, is set to be released in July 2016. Close draws from her experiences, having been born and raised on the North Shore of Chicago, and educated at Boston College. She further honed her craft at The New School, where she earned her MFA in Fiction Writing in 2005. Her background in magazines, where she worked in New York for many years, has undoubtedly influenced her writing style. Currently residing in Washington, DC, Close is also a dedicated educator, teaching creative writing at George Washington University.
