Jeffrey Colvin Books in Order

Jeffrey Colvin is a critically acclaimed novelist, editor, and educator. Based in New York City, he teaches and supports community-based arts organizations through grant writing. His debut novel, Africaville, was published by Amistad/HarperCollins USA in December 2019 and has been released in Canada, France, and Australia. Excerpts of his work have appeared in Narrative magazine, alongside other notable publications such as Hot Metal Bridge, Painted Bride Quarterly, and The Millions. Prior to pursuing his MFA, Colvin served in the United States Marine Corps and worked in various roles, including advertising analysis, congressional aid, and nonprofit management. Recognized for his talent, he has received prestigious fellowships and grants from the Cuttyhunk Writers Residency, Hambidge Center, and others. An assistant editor at Narrative magazine, Colvin is also a member of the National Book Critics Circle and has graduated from the US Naval Academy, Harvard University, and Columbia University.
