Jeannine Colette, a romance author known for her captivating stories of self-discovery and love, has been weaving tales since childhood. Growing up, her imagination was sparked by the romance novels her mother brought home from the Doubleday book club, featuring Fabio-esque men and scantily clad women in exotic settings. As a young girl, she wrote her own stories, often using her best friend as a muse, and later found inspiration in the works of authors like Marian Keyes, Nicholas Sparks, and Jeannette Wells. At 30, Colette discovered the world of self-publishing through authors Jamie McGuire and Colleen Hoover, and by 32, she decided to take the leap and pursue her own writing dreams. Today, Colette is the author of the Abandon Collection, a series of standalone novels that follow dynamic heroines as they abandon their reality to discover themselves and find love in new and exciting ways, each set in a different city and featuring a rose of a different color.
