Jeanne DuPrau Books in Order
Jeanne DuPrau is a prolific author who finds solace in the creative struggle of writing. Despite the challenges of crafting compelling narratives, she draws inspiration from the words of Thomas Mann, who described a writer as someone for whom writing is harder than for others. This quote fuels her courage to push through the tough decisions that come with storytelling. With a career spanning multiple genres, DuPrau has written four novels, six books of nonfiction, and numerous essays and stories. When not at her computer, she tends to her garden, where the California climate allows her to grow a diverse array of plants. As a devoted aunt to two nephews and a niece, and with her loyal dog Ethan by her side, DuPrau's life is filled with love, companionship, and the simple joys of everyday moments.
