After growing up with a romantic vision of becoming a foreign correspondent, she pursued a degree in English literature at the University of Rhode Island, where she also completed her master's degree as a teaching assistant. As a dedicated educator, Harrington taught writing and literature for sixteen years at Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts, leaving a lasting impact on her students. After raising her family and relocating to Florida, she turned her focus to writing, drawing from her rich life experiences to craft compelling narratives.
