Jane Haddam Books in Order
Jane Haddam is an American author of mysteries, born Orania Papazoglou in 1951. She began her career as a college professor and magazine editor before publishing her critically acclaimed debut novel, Sweet, Savage Death, in 1984, earning an Edgar Award nomination. The novel introduced Patience McKenna, a charismatic sleuth who appeared in four more books, including Wicked, Loving Murder and Rich, Radiant Slaughter. Haddam's most iconic series features former FBI agent Gregor Demarkian, debuting in Not a Creature Was Stirring, 1990, and spanning over twenty novels, many of them holiday-themed, such as Murder Superior, Fountain of Death, and Wanting Sheila Dead. Her more recent works include Blood in the Water, 2012, and Hearts of Sand, 2013.
