Jandy Nelson is a critically-acclaimed, New York Times bestselling author known for weaving poignant and magical tales that resonate with readers worldwide. As a superstitious person, she draws upon her own experiences with the mysterious and unknown in her writing. Her novels, such as I'll Give You the Sun and The Sky is Everywhere, have garnered numerous prestigious awards, including the Printz Award, Bank Street's Josette Frank Award, and Stonewall Book Award honor. Both novels have been YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults picks and have appeared on multiple best of the year lists. I'll Give You the Sun has been adapted into a screenplay by Natalie Krinsky, with Warner Brothers. Nelson holds MFAs in Poetry and Children's Writing from Brown University and Vermont College of Fine Arts, and a BA from Cornell University.
