Jack L. Chalker Books in Order

Jack L. Chalker is a science fiction author, educator, and convention organizer. He taught history in the Baltimore City Schools system in Maryland, and was a founding member of the Baltimore Science Fiction Society. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Chalker has been an active presence in the science fiction community since the 1960s, publishing his own amateur SF journal, Mirage, from 1960 to 1971, which was nominated for a Hugo Award in 1963. He has attended nearly every World Science Fiction Convention since 1965 and has been a member of the Washington Science Fiction Association. Chalker's writing career has earned him numerous awards, including the Daedalus Award, the Gold Medal of the West Coast Review of Books, and the Skylark Award. He was also a nominee for the John W. Campbell Award and the Hugo Award.
