Iona Whishaw is a multifaceted author, educator, and performer, with a background in youth work, social work, teaching, and school administration. Her writing career spans multiple genres, including short fiction, poetry, poetry translation, and children's literature. She is the author of the Lane Winslow mystery series and the children's book Henry and the Cow Problem. Whishaw's passion for education and writing is evident in her work, which often reflects her diverse life experiences, shaped by her global upbringing and exposure to various cultures. Her notable achievements include the Woman of Distinction in Education award (2010) and a Canada's Outstanding Principals award (2012).
