Her father, a charismatic fighter pilot, was an accomplished storyteller who captivated his audiences with his flair for drama and timing. This gift was passed down from her grandfather, whose visits were eagerly anticipated. Sundaresan's love of storytelling stems from the rich tales her father and grandfather shared, drawing from imagination and Hindu mythology. After completing her undergraduate degree in economics in India, she pursued graduate studies at the University of Delaware in the U.S. However, her innate storytelling gene soon took hold, setting her on a path to become a renowned author of historical fiction.
