Horst Christian is a renowned author, born in Berlin, Germany in 1930. Raised in a environment that fostered a love for learning, his father taught him to read and write before the age of 5. By 10, he discovered his passion for writing, penning vacation reports and articles for a German school periodical. Christian's early life was marked by his involvement in the mandatory "Jungvolk" and Hitler Youth, where he continued to write for their periodicals. As a 14-year-old, Christian was drafted to guide SS demolition commandos through Berlin's subway system. His experiences during World War II and the days leading up to and after the fall of Berlin serve as the foundation for his books. Immigrating to the United States in the early 1950s, Christian became a citizen and settled in Northern California, where he lives on a small ranch with his wife, Jennifer, for the past 30 years.
