Henry Marsh Books in Order

Henry Marsh is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at St George's Hospital in London, a position he has held since 1987. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons since 1984, Marsh read Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University before pursuing a medical career at the Royal Free Hospital in London. His work has been showcased in two major documentary films, YOUR LIFE IN THEIR HANDS and THE ENGLISH SURGEON, the latter of which won an EMMY award. He was appointed a CBE in 2010 for his services to medicine. Marsh is married to anthropologist and writer Kate Fox. As a renowned neurosurgeon and author, Marsh's writing career began with his critically acclaimed debut, Do No Harm.
