Helene Dunbar is celebrated as the "queen of heartbreaking prose" by Paste Magazine. As a prolific author, she has penned several novels, including WE ARE LOST AND FOUND (Sourcebooks, September 2019), an adaptation of which has been optioned for film by Ill Kippers, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's production company. Her other notable works include PRELUDE FOR LOST SOULS (August 2020), as well as the novels BOOMERANG, THESE GENTLE WOUNDS, and WHAT REMAINS. Throughout her career, Dunbar has demonstrated her versatility by working as a drama critic, journalist, and marketing manager, and has contributed to a wide range of topics, from traditional Irish music to court cases and theater. She resides in Nashville with her husband and daughter.
