Hanif Abdurraqib Books in Order

Hanif Abdurraqib is a poet, essayist, and cultural critic from Columbus, Ohio. His work has appeared in prominent publications, including <i>The FADER</i>, <i>Pitchfork</i>, <i>The New Yorker</i>, and <i>The New York Times</i>. His debut full-length poetry collection, <i>The Crown Ain't Worth Much</i>, was released in 2016, earning a finalist spot for the Eric Hoffer Book Prize and a nomination for a Hurston-Wright Legacy Award. He also released the limited edition chapbook <i>Vintage Sadness</i> through Big Lucks in 2017. Abdurraqib's first collection of essays, <i>They Can't Kill Us Until They Kill Us</i>, was published in 2017 and received widespread acclaim, being named a book of the year by numerous publications. A Callaloo Creative Writing Fellow, Union Station Magazine interviewer, and poetry editor at <i>Muzzle Magazine</i>, Abdurraqib is also a member of the poetry collective Echo Hotel. His biography, <i>Go Ahead In The Rain</i>, about A Tribe Called Quest, was released in 2019.
