Gretta Mulrooney is a multifaceted author with a passion for storytelling. Born and raised in London to Irish parents, Gretta's literary journey began with a degree in English from The University of Ulster, followed by a qualification in Social Work. She spent several years teaching English in secondary schools and working in social care, before turning to writing in her thirties. Gretta's children's books were published by Poolbeg Press, while her adult fiction novels have garnered recognition and acclaim. Her novel, Araby, won a bursary from East Midlands Arts, and subsequent novels, including Marble Heart, Fire and Ice, Out of the Blue, and The Apple of Her Eye, have been published by leading imprints. Gretta's more recent series, The Tyrone Swift series, features a London-based private detective and has been published by Joffe Books.
