Gemma Halliday is a versatile and accomplished author, whose journey to becoming a writer was paved with a diverse array of careers. Prior to finding her true calling, she worked as a film and television actress, a teddy bear importer, a department store administrator, a preschool teacher, a temporary tattoo artist, and a 900 number psychic. However, her writing career truly took off in 2005 with the sale of her debut novel, Spying in High Heels. Since then, she has penned numerous mystery novels, earning a host of accolades, including a National Reader's Choice award and three RITA nominations. Her works have consistently topped the USA Today and New York Times Bestseller lists. Gemma currently resides in the San Francisco Bay area, where she is actively working on her next project.
