Frank E. Peretti is a publishing phenomenon, known as "America's hottest Christian novelist," with over 12 million novels in print. As a natural storyteller, he began captivating audiences at a young age, gathering neighborhood children in Seattle for animated storytelling sessions. Peretti's diverse background includes stints as a musician, playing banjo with a local bluegrass group and touring with a pop band, before launching a Christian music ministry with his wife. He later pursued higher education, studying English, screenwriting, and film at UCLA, and assisted his father in pastoring a small Assembly of God church. Peretti's career took a pivotal turn when he wrote This Present Darkness, which catapulted him into the public eye after overcoming numerous rejections and a slow start in sales.
