Francesca Haig is a celebrated author, academic, and poet, whose work has garnered international recognition. Her thought-provoking post-apocalyptic trilogy, The Fire Sermon series, has been translated into more than 20 languages, captivating readers worldwide. The series, which began with her debut novel, The Fire Sermon, published in 2015 by HarperVoyager (UK) and Simon & Schuster (US and Canada), continued with The Map of Bones in 2016 and concluded with The Forever Ship in 2017. A holder of a PhD from the University of Melbourne, her research expertise lies in Holocaust literature. Born in Tasmania, Francesca now resides in London.
