Erin Hart Books in Order

Erin Hart is a critically acclaimed author of archaeological crime novels set in the mysterious boglands of Ireland. Her debut novel, Haunted Ground (2003), was a highly anticipated mystery release, earning her widespread recognition and accolades, including a Booksense 76 pick, the Friends of American Writers award, and Romantic Times' Best First Mystery. Haunted Ground also received nominations for Anthony and Agatha awards, and was translated into ten foreign languages. Her subsequent novels, Lake of Sorrows (2004) and False Mermaid (2010), solidified her reputation as a masterful storyteller, with False Mermaid named one of the ALA/Booklist Top Ten Crime Novels of 2010. Hart's writing is informed by her background as a Minnesota theater critic and her experience as a communications director of the Minnesota State Arts Board. She holds an M.A. in English and Creative Writing from the University of Minnesota and lives in Saint Paul with her husband, Irish musician Paddy O'Brien.
