Erika Chase is a prolific author known for her Ashton Corners Book Club mysteries published by Penguin/Berkley Prime Crime. As a seasoned mystery writer, she also writes under the pen name Linda Wiken. A former owner of the renowned Prime Crime Books in Ottawa, ON, Canada, Linda has a deep understanding of the mystery genre and has honed her craft through years of experience. Erika's short stories have appeared in the Ladies' Killing Circle anthologies, as well as in notable magazines such as Mysterious Intent and Over My Dead Body. She is a member of the esteemed Ladies' Killing Circle, a collective of accomplished female mystery writers. Erika's work has been recognized with a short-listed nomination for an Arthur Ellis Award from Crime Writers of Canada. Before embarking on her writing career, Erika worked as an advertising copywriter, radio producer, journalist, and community education worker. In her free time, she enjoys singing with two local choirs, a passion that complements her love of mystery novels. Erika shares her home with her two Siamese cats, Keesha and Mojo, who graciously permit her to reside there.
