Erik Storey is a rugged outdoorsman turned acclaimed author, with a background that includes stints as a ranch hand, wilderness guide, dogsled musher, and hunter. His childhood summers were spent immersed in the unforgiving yet breathtaking landscapes of Colorado's Flat Tops wilderness, both on his great-grandfather's homestead and in a remote cabin. As a skilled marksman, he holds numerous sharpshooter and marksman qualifications. His gripping debut novel, Nothing Short of Dying, introduced readers to his unique voice and perspective. Storey currently resides in Grand Junction, Colorado, with his family, continuing to draw inspiration from the wild places that have shaped his life and writing.
