Erica Jong is a celebrated novelist, poet, and essayist who has long championed feminism through her writing. With a prolific career spanning over five decades, she has published 21 books, including eight novels, six volumes of poetry, and six books of non-fiction. Her work has been featured in prominent publications such as the <i>New York Times</i>, the <i>Sunday Times of London</i>, <i>Elle</i>, <i>Vogue</i>, and the <i>New York Times Book Review</i>. Jong's iconic first novel, <i>Fear of Flying</i>, has sold over 26 million copies worldwide, introducing the character of Isadora Wing, who appears in three subsequent novels. She has also demonstrated her mastery of historical literature in her novels <i>Fanny</i>, <i>Shylock's Daughter</i>, and <i>Sappho's Leap</i>.
