Emily M. Danforth Books in Order

Emily M. Danforth is a critically acclaimed author and educator. Born and raised in Miles City, Montana, a city renowned for the Bucking Horse Sale, her writing is deeply rooted in the rugged landscape and cowboy culture of eastern Montana. Her debut novel, The Miseducation of Cameron Post, a poignant exploration of identity and belonging, drew inspiration from her native surroundings. Danforth holds an MFA in Fiction from the University of Montana and a Ph.D in English-Creative Writing from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Currently, she serves as an Assistant Professor of English at Rhode Island College in Providence, where she continues to nurture emerging writers.
