Emily Franklin Books in Order
Emily Franklin is a multifaceted author with a writing career that spans genres and age groups. Born with a passion for storytelling, she initially aspired to be a singing, tap-dancing doctor who writes books, although her dancing dreams were short-lived. Franklin pursued her love of writing at Oxford University and Sarah Lawrence College, where she earned an undergraduate degree in writing and neuroscience. Her extensive travels, diverse experiences, and personal relationships have deeply influenced her writing. After earning a Master's Degree in writing and media studies from Dartmouth, Franklin began editing medical texts while nurturing her own writing ambitions. Her life took a serendipitous turn when she met her husband, a doctor and pianist, on Martha's Vineyard. This chance encounter led her to write her first novel and realize her childhood dream of becoming a published author. Franklin's notable works include two adult novels, The Girls' Almanac and Liner Notes, and a critically-acclaimed seven-book series for teens, The Principles of Love, as well as several young adult books such as The Other Half of Me, the Chalet Girls series, and At Face Value.
