Effie Kammenou Books in Order

Effie Kammenou is a testament to the power of chasing one's dreams and following one's heart, even if it takes a detour. After initially aspiring to a career in acting, she spent 40 years working in the optical field, raising two accomplished daughters along the way. Her experiences, coupled with her Greek heritage, inspired her debut novel, Evanthia's Gift, a multigenerational love story and family saga that draws from her family's rich history and her father's captivating stories of their journey from Lesvos, Greece to America. As a first-generation Greek-American, Kammenou's writing is deeply rooted in her culture.
