Born and raised near Boston, Massachusetts, she spent her childhood immersed in books, developing the unique skill of reading while walking, which she still masters with ease. Her love for literature led her to earn a B.A. in theater from the College of the Holy Cross, where she honed her craft as a principal actor in a summer Shakespeare festival and a theater teacher, directing numerous productions and workshops for youth. Her experience as a high school theater director and English literature teacher sparked her determination to revive young readers' enthusiasm. Her debut young adult novel, Spirit Legacy: Book 1 of the Gateway Trilogy, won awards from Chanticleer Book Reviews and Media and The Independent Publisher Book Awards. She continues to write, inspiring a new generation of readers through her captivating stories.
