E.C. Diskin is a versatile writer, lawyer, and creative entrepreneur. She has built a diverse career, transitioning from a degree in Radio/TV/Film and English at Texas Christian University to a stint as a professional dancer in New York City's Soho district. After pursuing law school in Chicago, Diskin spent several years practicing law before turning her focus to writing fiction. Her debut legal thriller, The Green Line, launched a successful career in the genre, followed by the publication of Broken Grace, a psychological thriller. Her subsequent novels, Depth of Lies and Desperate Paths, have further established her as a master of the thriller and suspense genres. When not writing, Diskin continues to practice law and pursues various creative ventures, including interior design and woodworking.
