Dylan Young is a versatile and prolific author, whose passion for storytelling spans multiple genres. Born in a mining village in the Swansea valley, Wales, Young's early life laid the groundwork for a successful writing career. Having qualified as a doctor in 1979, Young's medical background has undoubtedly influenced his writing, particularly in his crime novels. As Dylan Jones, he published four novels in the nineties, two of which were adapted into BBC films. His Natalie Vine series has been re-released as ebooks by Random House. Currently, Young writes children's fiction as Rhys A Jones and contemporary urban fantasy as DC Farmer. With the release of his new crime series, featuring Detective Inspector Anna Gwynne, Young continues to captivate audiences with his diverse range of stories. He resides in West Wales with his wife, drawing inspiration from the region's breathtaking landscape and unpredictable weather.
