Born and raised on a farm outside of Petersburg, Illinois, he developed a vivid imagination and a love for books, which was complemented by his early interest in music, particularly playing the guitar. After relocating to a mini-farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Boehm pursued a career as an IT consultant while nurturing his creative side as a part-time musician and songwriter. His writing journey began with short stories, eventually giving rise to his debut novel, inspired by the classic film "A Christmas Carol".
