Drew Daywalt Books in Order

Drew Daywalt is a writer-director who has been crafting worlds of fantasy since his childhood in one of Ohio's most haunted houses. A graduate of Emerson College in Boston, where he earned a degree in Creative Writing with a concentration in Children's Literature, Daywalt has spent years honing his craft in Hollywood. His extensive experience includes writing for beloved shows such as Timon & Pumba, Buzz Lightyear, and Woody Woodpecker, as well as creating the animated series The Wacky World of Tex Avery, which earned an Emmy nomination. Daywalt has also worked with major Hollywood directors on live-action projects, including Quentin Tarantino, Lawrence Bender, Tony Scott, Brett Ratner, and Jerry Bruckheimer. His picture book debut, THE DAY THE CRAYONS QUIT, illustrated by Oliver Jeffers, catapulted to the New York Times Best Seller's List in June 2013 and became a Number One Best Seller.
