As co-creator of the hit Nickelodeon series Are You Afraid of the Dark?, MacHale produced all 91 episodes over eight years, earning a CableAce nomination for directing The Tale of Cutter's Treasure. He also received a Gemini nomination for directing The Tale of the Dangerous Soup.
