David Wellington is a contemporary American horror author known for captivating global audiences with his iconic series, including the Zombie trilogy, Vampire series, and Werewolf series. His works have been translated into eleven languages, solidifying his reputation as a master of dark fiction. Wellington's career began with online serialization in 2004, where his novel gained immense popularity, eventually leading to a print publication deal with Thunder's Mouth Press for his breakout novel, Monster Island. His novels have been featured in prominent publications, including Rue Morgue, Fangoria, and the New York Times. Wellington has also ventured into comic book writing, making his debut in 2009 with Marvel Zombies Return: Iron Man. A graduate of Syracuse University and Penn State, where he earned an MFA in creative writing, Wellington lives in New York City with his wife Elisabeth and their dog Mary Shelley.
