David Lagercrantz Books in Order
David Lagercrantz is a Swedish journalist and author, residing in Stockholm. His writing career spans over two decades, with his first biography, about Swedish adventurer Göran Kropp, published in 1997. He followed this with a biography on inventor Håkan Lans, A Swedish Genius, in 2000. Lagercrantz gained international recognition as a novelist with Fall of Man in Wilmslow, a fictionalized account of British mathematician Alan Turing. His works often explore the themes of unconventional talents and the resistance they face. Lagercrantz's sports biography, I am Zlatan Ibrahimović, published in 2011, became one of the most successful books in Sweden, nominated for the prestigious August Prize in 2012 and shortlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year award. The book has been translated into over 30 languages and sold millions of copies worldwide. In 2013, Lagercrantz was commissioned to write the fourth installment of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, The Girl in the Spider's Web. Published in 2015, it debuted simultaneously in 24 languages worldwide, ten years after the Swedish publication of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
