David L. Robbins is a multifaceted author, lawyer, and writer, born in Richmond, Virginia, on March 10, 1954. Growing up in Sandston, a small town near the airport, Robbins' life was influenced by his parents' experiences in World War II; his father, Sam, witnessed the devastating events at Pearl Harbor. After graduating with a B.A. in Theater and Speech from the College of William & Mary in 1976, Robbins initially pursued a career in law, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1980. However, he soon transitioned to a successful freelance writing career, publishing his first fiction novel in 1997. Since then, he has written twelve novels, including the U.S. Air Force Pararescuemen series, and has also ventured into scriptwriting for stage and screen. Robbins' work has earned him awards for his essays.
