David Gilman Books in Order

David Gilman is a versatile and accomplished author with a diverse background. Born and raised in Liverpool, he was educated in Wales before embarking on a series of unconventional careers. At 16, he drove a 1946 Ford in the African bush, ferrying construction workers. This experience was followed by various jobs in different countries, including fire and rescue work, forestry, and professional photography. He also served in the Parachute Regiment's Reconnaissance Platoon and worked in publishing. Turning to full-time writing in 1986, Gilman has since penned numerous radio and television scripts, including several years of the hit show 'A Touch of Frost.' His young adult 'Danger Zone' trilogy, which includes 'The Devil's Breath,' has been sold in 15 countries and garnered international acclaim, including a longlisting for the CILIP Carnegie Medal.
