Daniel Stashower is the acclaimed author of The Boy Genius and The Mogul, as well as the Edgar Award-winning biography, Teller of Tales: The Life of Arthur Conan Doyle. A prolific mystery novelist, his works include numerous titles, with The Houdini Specter being his most recent release. Stashower is a distinguished recipient of The Raymond Chandler Fulbright Fellowship in Detective and Crime Fiction Writing, and has held the position of Visiting Fellow at Wadham College, Oxford. As a seasoned freelance journalist, his articles have been featured in prominent publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, Smithsonian Magazine, National Geographic Traveller, and Connoisseur.
