Daniel Kalla Books in Order

Daniel Kalla is a Vancouver-based ER Physician and award-winning author of medical thrillers and historical novels. His clinical experience, particularly during the 2003 SARS crisis, inspired his debut medical thriller, PANDEMIC. Since then, he has written five science thrillers and medical mysteries, exploring themes such as superbugs, pandemics, and patient abuse. His historical novels, including THE FAR SIDE OF THE SKY and its sequel RISING SUN, FALLING SHADOW, delve into the complexities of Second World War Shanghai and its cultural dynamics. Kalla's works have been translated into eleven languages and have been optioned for feature films. He earned his MD from the University of British Columbia and is a devoted husband and father to two daughters, living in a family home dominated by the feminine touch.
