Dana Simpson is a prolific cartoonist known for her whimsical style and engaging storytelling. Growing up in Gig Harbor, Washington, she spent much of her time honing her drawing skills. After graduating from The Evergreen State College, Simpson began her career in comics with the popular internet strip Ozy and Millie, which she drew from 1998 to 2008. Her success with Ozy and Millie led to a development deal with Universal Uclick for the comic strip Heavenly Nostrils after she won the Amazon-sponsored Comic Strip Superstar Contest in 2009. Simpson's work has captivated audiences worldwide, and she continues to reside in the Seattle area with her husband, a tech genius, and her mischievous cat.
