Cynthia Hand is a New York Times bestselling author of young adult fiction. She has written numerous novels, including the UNEARTHLY trilogy, THE LAST TIME WE SAY GOODBYE, and the co-authored MY LADY JANE and MY PLAIN JANE, which she penned alongside Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows. Hand's works also comprise THE AFTERLIFE OF HOLLY CHASE and forthcoming novels THE HOW AND THE WHY and MY CALAMITY JANE, co-written with Ashton and Meadows. A versatile writer, Hand initially explored literary fiction, earning both an M.F.A. and a Ph.D. in fiction writing. Currently based in Boise, Idaho, Hand lives with her husband, two cats, one rambunctious dog, and their two children amidst a vast collection of books.
