C.S. O'Cinneide is a writer and blogger, best known for her website She Kills Lit, where she showcases the work of women writers in the thriller and noir genres. Her writing career took off with the debut novel Petra's Ghost, a dark thriller set against the backdrop of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, where a woman's disappearance sparks a gripping investigation. Inspired by real events from her own 2015 pilgrimage, Petra's Ghost marked the beginning of O'Cinneide's journey into the darker corners of the human experience. Her subsequent novel, The Starr Sting Scale, launched the Candace Starr crime series with a tongue-in-cheek noir that blends wit and suspense. A resident of Guelph, Ontario, O'Cinneide draws inspiration from her life with her husband, an Irish ex-pat who remains her constant muse.
